Daily Schedule
Curious about what our daily camp schedule might be? Sun-up to sun-down, there’s something fun planned for your child. Our daily activities include a wide range of athletic, waterfront, arts and cultural activities led by a committed group of specialists. And, of course, mixed into our array of scheduled activities is a whole bunch of “unscheduled” silliness and fun. Regular ongoing activities include:
Evening Programs
Evening programs are always special at Camp B’nai Brith of Ottawa. At Canada’s best Jewish summer camp, when the sun goes down, a whole new world of excitement begins.
Our staff pride themselves on creating new and exciting evening programs. The programs vary greatly and can be by cabin, section, or include the entire camp. Possibilities include theme nights, team-building exercises, scavenger hunts, game shows, talent shows, concerts, sports, Jewish-themed programs, and anything else that our dynamic and creative staff can envision!
Jewish Culture
Camp B’nai Brith of Ottawa has spent the past 85 summers bringing together Jewish children from all over North America and throughout the world. We take pride in creating an environment that welcomes Jewish culture and themed activities and programs. These include:
- Weekly Kabbalat Shabbat
- Weekly Shabbat services and programs
- Weekly Havdalah Services
- Kosher food
- Israel Day
- Haganah Night
- Tisha B’Av observances
Special Events
Beyond our regular camp programming, it is our special events that create many lasting memories, as we break away from our regular routine. While we are always inventing new and dynamic programs for your children, some of the favourite CBB of Ottawa programs and activities include:

Camp Outings
Camp B’nai Brith of Ottawa is fortunate to be located close to the city of Ottawa as well as the beautiful Lac Poisson Blanc, and a number of theme and entertainment parks in and around the Gatineau-Ottawa area. On occasion, we like to treat our campers (and staff) to some wonderful out-of-camp activities such as:
- Mont Cascade Water Park
- Calypso Water Park
- Overnight camping and canoeing at Lac Poisson Blanc
- La Fleche Caves and Zip Lining
- Whitewater Rafting
Community Outreach
At Camp B’nai Brith of Ottawa, we teach your children about the importance of community outreach and Tikun Olam (giving back). Each summer, our Counsellors-In-Training (CITs) visit Hillel Lodge, Ottawa’s Jewish campus home for the elderly. Whether it’s playing music, having a card game or just a nice conversation, the benefits of having young and old come together are invaluable.
