That summer, the Head of CITs had challenged the group to try a placement outside of their comfort zone. Cynthia had never experienced working with nine and ten-year-old boys, so she thought it would be the ideal challenge. This placement turned out to be so rewarding and memorable, that despite having been certain her whole life that she would be a counselor on a different unit, she applied for the position on A Boys the following summer. Her past three summers as a staff and as Assistant Head of A Boys have been incredible, unforgettable, and have helped her define her ultimate career goals.
