Throughout many years, Izzy has worked in several Jewish schools and synagogues, teaching and doing activities with children of all ages. Izzy Posen was born and raised in the Jewish community of East London where he attended Jewish day schools and learned a lot about Judaism. As he grew older, he realized that there was more than one way to make the world a better place and to serve the Jewish community; so, when he completed his extensive Jewish studies, he began his journey towards going to university, where he is now a student at the University of Bristol in the South West of England. He is studying Physics and Philosophy – the physics is very hard, but he loves the philosophy. Ask him about the meaning of life; it drives him crazy because he doesn’t want to admit that he doesn’t know the answer!
In his spare time, Izzy likes lying on the grass and reading books, or playing pool with friends (he isn’t particularly good at it though, ssshhh). He can’t wait for camp to meet lots of awesome people and have great fun together!
